UMIDIGI F1 Design And Display
Umidigi F1 has a crystal clear 6.3-inch FHD+ LTPS IPS LCD display with a small chin down at the bottom. It uses the trendy 19:9 aspect ratios with a water drop notch at the top housing the single front-facing snapper which can also be used for face Unlock a.k.a FaceID.
The back which is made with plastic has the dual rear cameras with red accents around it. There is also an LED flash and the fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. Edges on the Umidigi F1 are curved with rounded corners which makes it a pleasure to hold. Colour options are limited to just Red, Gold and Black. It uses a Hybrid SIM – 2 SIM cards or 1 SIM and One MicroSD card for storage expansion.
UMIDIGI F1 Camera Review
Umidigi F1 is equipped with a main 16MP shooter accompanied by a secondary 8MP sensor, both of which have an LED flash in between. According to Umidigi, it will have super low light performance and can take decent photos in low lit scenes. It also has Panorama, HDR and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. The front-facing shooter for selfies is a 16MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and is equally quite capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps. It can also be used for Face Unlock, also known as FaceID on the device.
Hardware and Software
Inside the Umidigi F1 is the powerful MediaTek Helio P60 SoC built on the 12nm manufacturing process technology. The MediaTek Helio P60 SoC has an Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.0GHz for processing paired with ARM Mali G72 MP3 GPU clocked at 800MHz for gaming. For multitasking, 4GB of RAM is on board with 128GB of storage which can be expanded if you so choose to.
It can go up to 256GB via the second SIM slot which is also a memory card slot. Umidigi F1 runs the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box without any Skin on top of it – Pure undiluted Android with Optimal performance, regular updates and security patches.
Battery & Network Connectivity
Powering the Umidigi F1 is a massive 5,150mAh battery capacity with an 18W fast battery charging through it’s USB Type-C port. It also has dual 4G LTE connectivity with Global 4G bands and VoLTE on both SIM slots. Other features of the Umidigi F1 includes WiFi, WiFi hotspot, WiFi direct, GPS, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack and NFC for payments.
