Cubot Max 2 Design And Display
Cubot Max 2 looks so much different than its predecessor in terms of display. It has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD Panel stretching up to the top of the device with its 19:9 aspect ratio. There is still a little bit of chin at the bottom. However, the bezel at the top is enough to house the front-facing camera hence the notch, but not at the centre, but at top right corner.
The front-facing camera can also be used for Face Unlock a.k.a FaceID. At the back of th device is th dual rear cameras, an LED flash and fingerprint sensor as another means of biometric verification. It weighs 214grams thanks to its hefty battery capacity and measures 8.94mm in thickness. The body of the device which is made of Polycarbonate material comes in two colours options to chooses from – Gradient and Black. It also has a dual Hybrid SIM card slot which means 1 SIM card + 1 MicroSD card or 2 SIM cards.
Cubot Max 2 Camera Review
Nothing exceptional here, The rear camera comprises of a Sony owned 12MP main shooter and a secondary depth sensor 2MP camera for portrait shots. It’s equipped with a dual-LED flash for low light shots and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps. The single front facing the 8MP camera for selfies is weirdly placed at the top right corner of the display which can also be used for Face Unlock.
